We are pleased to invite you to Acoustics ’27, which will be held in Brussels, Belgium, 21-25 June 2027. Organized by the Belgian Acoustics Association (ABAV), the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) and the European Acoustics Association (EAA), this major international congress will also include the 2027 Congrès Français d’Acoustique (CFA), uniting several important acoustics communities at a single event. Acoustics ‘27 will be the fourth joint meeting between ASA and EAA, forming a unique forum for global scientific exchange in acoustics.

The congress will be hosted at the SQUARE – Brussels Convention Centre, and Bozar – Palais des Beaux-Arts, combining state-of-the-art conference facilities with the renowned acoustics of the listed Bozar Concert Halls.  Both venues are ideally located in the heart of Brussels, directly connected to Brussels Central Station, within walking distance of many hotels. Brussels benefits from excellent transport links for international delegates, thanks to the EU’s High-Speed Rail Network and Brussels Airport, which offers numerous international connections 20 minutes from the city. Dynamic and cosmopolitan, Brussels is a UNESCO World Heritage destination, located in the heart of Europe and home to the main EU institutions.

The Technical Program will span a wide range of acoustics topics, featuring lecture and poster sessions, plenary lectures, and specialized technical sessions that highlight the latest research and emerging trends. An Exhibition will showcase technological innovations from leading companies in the sector. Delegates and accompanying persons will enjoy a dedicated Social Program to foster networking, collaboration, and community-building throughout the week.

Scientific contributions may be published in EAA’s Forum Acusticum Proceedings series or in ASA’s Proceedings of Meetings on Acoustics (POMA), ensuring broad dissemination and long-term visibility.

Prior to the congress, the EAA 2027 Summer School will take place in Ghent, 18-20 June, offering a valuable opportunity for students and early-career professionals.

We look forward to welcoming you to Brussels for an exceptional scientific, professional, and social experience.
