We are pleased to invite you to Acoustics \u201927, which will be held in Brussels, Belgium, 21-25 June 2027.<\/span> Organized by the Belgian Acoustics Association (ABAV),<\/strong> the Acoustical Society of America (ASA)<\/strong> and the European Acoustics Association (EAA),<\/strong> this major international congress will also include the 2027 Congr\u00e8s Fran\u00e7ais d\u2019Acoustique (CFA),<\/strong> uniting several important acoustics communities at a single event. Acoustics \u201827 will be the<\/strong> fourth joint meeting between ASA and EAA,<\/strong> forming a unique forum <\/strong>for global scientific exchange in acoustics.<\/span><\/p>\n

The congress will be hosted at the SQUARE – Brussels Convention Centre,<\/strong> and Bozar – Palais des Beaux-Arts,<\/strong> combining state-of-the-art conference facilities with the renowned acoustics of the\u00a0Bozar Concert Halls<\/strong>.\u00a0 Both venues are ideally located in the historical centre of Brussels,<\/strong> directly connected to Brussels Central Station,<\/strong> within walking distance of many hotels. Brussels benefits from excellent transportation links for international delegates,<\/strong> thanks to the EU’s High-Speed Rail Network<\/strong> and Brussels Airport,<\/strong> which offers numerous international connections 20 minutes from the city. Dynamic and cosmopolitan, Brussels is a UNESCO World Heritage destination<\/strong>, located in the heart of Europe<\/strong> and home to the main EU institutions<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Technical Program<\/strong> will span a wide range of acoustics topics, featuring lecture and poster sessions, plenary lectures, and specialized technical sessions that highlight the latest research and emerging trends. An Exhibition <\/strong>will showcase technological innovations from leading companies in the sector. Delegates and accompanying persons will enjoy a dedicated Social Program<\/strong>\u00a0to foster networking, collaboration, and community-building throughout the week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Authors may choose to publish their scientific contributions either in EAA\u2019s Forum Acusticum Proceedings series<\/strong> or in ASA\u2019s Proceedings of Meetings on Acoustics (POMA)<\/strong>, ensuring broad dissemination and long-term visibility.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to the congress, the EAA 2027 Summer School <\/strong>will take place in Ghent, 18-20 June,<\/strong> offering a valuable opportunity for students and early-career professionals.<\/span><\/p>\n
