Registration Fees and Payment
Registration for Acoustics ’27 and booking of services are binding for the attendee. Registration will be confirmed once payment is made with credit card.
Payment Options
All payments should be made in euro, attendees may pay online with credit cardor by bank transfer.
Cancellation Fees
Written cancellation received before 14 February 2027 : a full refund will be granted minus a 10% administration fee.
Written cancellation received between 14 February and 20 May 2027: 50% reimbursement will be granted
Written cancellation received from the 21 May 2027: No reimbursement will be granted.
Should a registrant not attend the event, for whatever reason, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.
A registered participant may be replaced without penalty until 20 May 2027. In such cases, the Congress Secretariat must be informed as soon as possible and provided with the replacement’s contact details.
Loss of Name Badge
If an attendee loses their badge, a fee of € 25.00 incl. VAT must be paid to receive a new name badge. Each congress attendee must have his/her badge to attend the event.
Liability
AIM Group Belgium BVBA must act with reasonable professional care under Belgian law, but its liability is limited to damage caused by intent or gross negligence. Other organisers or service providers remain responsible for their own roles. Participants join excursions and activities at their own risk, and verbal agreements are only binding if confirmed in writing. By registering for Acoustics ’27, participants accept personal responsibility for their own safety, including any transferred registrations. The organisers are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal or business property. Registrants are also responsible for meeting health and visa requirements for travel to Belgium; failure to do so does not make the organisers liable.
Force Majeure
For reasons beyond its control, Acoustics ‘27 has the right to immediately alter or cancel the activities or events or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly thereto. Such reasons include war, strikes, lockouts, riots or other civil disturbances, acts of God (including, but not limited to, earthquakes, floods, droughts and typhoons), and any other cause or circumstance of whatever nature beyond the organizers’ control having an impact on the arrangements, timetables or planning of the Congress and its corresponding activities in Belgium. No party involved shall be entitled to any compensation for damages that result from such alteration or cancellation.
Place of Performance, Venue of Jurisdiction
Brussels shall be the exclusive place of performance and the venue of jurisdiction for all parties at Acoustics ‘27. Belgium law shall apply.
